Runway Startup Postdoc Program: 

We accept top PhDs who have graduated within the last five years, and occasionally, PhD candidates nearing the end of their programs. Startup Postdocs are interested in the application of digital technologies in a broad sense. The faculty at the  Jacobs Technion-Cornell Institute and Cornell Tech includes experts in connective media, health technology, security and privacy, computer vision and a number of other fields. We tend to select Startup Postdocs with related backgrounds so they can take advantage of the excellent resources and mentors already here. Check out our faculty and the Runway companies that have already launched. 

Applications to the Runway Startup Postdoc Program open on October 15 and close on February 15.

Technion Summer Program at Cornell Tech (for Technion students only):

The Jacobs Institute at Cornell Tech offers an immersive 9-week Summer Research Program, from late August to early October, exclusively designed for highly qualified students currently enrolled at the Technion. This program provides an unparalleled opportunity to work as a research intern under the guidance of Cornell Tech faculty on a diverse array of faculty-led projects.

Participants will gain hands-on experience, contributing to innovative research while benefiting from close mentorship within their faculty’s lab. Weekly activities include engaging in lab meetings, participating in lunch-and-learn sessions, and delving deep into their projects in a collaborative environment. Beyond academic and professional growth, the program includes optional cultural excursions to explore the vibrant city of New York, enriching students’ personal experiences.

This program is open to Technion students who will return to the Technion for at least one semester after completing the program.

We expect commitment to the program on a full-time basis for the duration of the internship. If you cannot commit for the full duration of the program, we ask you to refrain from applying. 

Application opens January 15 and will close March 1.
